In the month of October, 2005, the CUF Chapel received a prayer request from Denny, in Texas. It was as follows:     God bless you. My name is Denny. I'm a Christian, and I'm having trouble passing a kidney stone. I live in Southeast Texas. My home/business was damaged by hurricane Rita. I had no insurance, so my wife and I are having to make the repairs ourselves while trying to get our business up and running again. Please pray for this stone to hurry up and pass so I can get on with what I have to do without having the pain. You are welcome to post this request if you want. I give God the praise, and thank you for your prayer, Denny.     As is usual, we prayed for him immediately and put his request on the chapel. I always alert our christian brother in New York and have him bring the needs to his congregation, and I did so for Denny. About a week later, we received the following Email:
Hi, It's me Denny R.
I was doing searches on the Internet for information on kidney stones, and I typed in "Jesus and Kidney Stones." That's how I came across your web site. I sent in my request for prayer, and I received a response and prayer from you the next day. By the end of that day, the stone began to move. Not fast, but constant. God answers prayer. I think that was on the 28th of October. Today is the 1st of November. I just passed it. The stone is out, and I feel great. On top of that, someone from my church gave us a check for $1000 and a gift card for $50 in gas, and $50 in groceries. I want to thank you for praying for me. I give God all the praise in Jesus' name. You guys are a blessing. I pray God will bless you and your family.
Of course, our family consists of all the praying Christians who agree with each prayer request we receive. The God we pray to is not only alive and well, but He is still in the healing and miracle business for those who will trust and have faith in Him. How about you?
