Katie Rose's Miracle...

The following is a testimony of the results of united prayer. Katie-Rose was in pretty bad shape and needed an operation to correct her problem...until God took hold. Gary and his family had requested prayer from God's people, including those who subscribe to Brother Marvin Baker's Prayer Power list. This is Gary's way of expressing his thanks to the Lord and all the prayer intercessors who knew how to use their hot-line to Heaven.

I had to e-mail you straightaway and tell you the good news. Over the past two weeks Katie-Rose has shown a marked improvement. On Friday we spoke to the Neurosurgeon on the telephone and asked him if, due to the improvement in Katie-Rose's condition, he would reconsider the need for the operation. While saying he understood our reluctance to go ahead with the operation, he was not encouraging, saying that Katie-Rose's condition was so serious that the operation was her only option. This morning, (Monday) Tania, Katie and I traveled to the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham and booked into the neurosurgery ward and were shown to Katie's bed. The neurosurgeon was connected and within a very short time arrived to discuss the operation with us.
When he arrived and saw Katie-Rose he was stunned. Her head had stopped turning to the side, she could balance better than she has been able to since March of this year. Her eyes were working together again...the episodes of staring were gone. He couldn't believe it, kept saying things like amazing, remarkable, incredible. Five minutes later after arranging for him to see Katie-Rose in December, WE WERE WALKING OUT OF THE WARD... PRAISE GOD!!!!

What can I say to those of you who prayed, words would never be enough to explain how we feel about you. We have cried almost non-stop since leaving the hospital. I thank my God for each of you and ask that he would bless you all in a mighty way. As I sit here, tears of joy in my eyes, I would give you my heart if I could. But instead I give you all I can, on behalf of Katie-Rose and my family I want to say a GREAT BIG THANK YOU!
