Mammon Rules...

Another election has come and gone in America, and I'm afraid the principles of God and morality have been sacrificed to the love of money. It has been shown that the biggest issue in the race was "the economy". Thousands of self-proclaimed Christians voted against the Word of God. It was against it not because of the candidate, but because of the political platform involved.
I'm certain that many who read this message will cry "prejudice...prejudice". Let us remind you, Christians cannot harbor prejudice. Furthermore, had it not been for one precious, hard-working black man, I would not be alive today to set this message forth. He yanked me out of the way of a very large speeding automobile when I was about 8 years old, and I praise God for the black race that produced him. No, this message is based on God's Word, and it's warning is predicated on the following scripture:
Matthew 6:24... No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other, or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon (money).
In this election people ignored the weightier matters of morality and life, and voted in favor of "mammon". I pray that God will forgive and educate those who brushed his principles aside because they were afraid their billfolds might be thinner...Let us re-post the principles we're talking about from our previous message:
These are the principles of God...
...Concerning homosexuality...
Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination...
Jude 1:6 Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
...And, concerning abortion...
Jeremiah, 1:5... Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
Matthew 18:14... Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.
Brothers and sisters, Hell is unimaginably hot, unbelievably horrible, and absolutely eternal! Is the billfold worth the risk of it? Only you can decide.
We ask that you remember this: Life is just a dream, reality is yet to come.
