... Final Signs ...

Another year is here. How many more can we expect? We cannot know, because the Bible says: "...No man knoweth the day nor the hour..". But those of us who are familiar with the scriptures realize that there cannot be many more new years until the advent of the Second Coming of Christ. Consider Matthew 24....

4... ...Take heed that no man deceive you.
5...For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6...And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7...For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8...All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9...Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10...And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11...And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12...And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13...But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14...And this gospel of the kiingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Is there anything in these scriptures that is not happening even as you read this message? Consider Verses 5...and 11...

How many false prophets have we seen and heard of till now, leading unlearned and unsuspecting people to destruction...like Jim Jones, for instance? Frequently, in this day, we hear of them...claiming to be Christ, or prophets of Christ. It has become a common occurence...end-times scripture become fact. Then there are Verses 6 and 7...

Is there anyplace in this present world now that isn't having, or has recently had a war or wars going on in that area? America is fighting terrorism around the world; the Palestinians and Israel are in a constant state of conflict; and all around the rest of the world one nation is rising up against another nation. Could Verses 6 & 7 be any more accurate or commonplace than right now?

Let's look at Verse 12. In all the history of this nation divorce has not been more prevelant. Satan is trying to destroy every Christian union he can get at. We receive request after request from God's children asking for prayer for their marital relationships. It has never been so bad... just another end-times scripture completely fulfilled.

And what about Verses 9 & 10? If we even turn the news on, we hear of Christians that have been or are being executed, tortured, imprisoned, murdered and hated, strictly because they are Christians. These are not things that happen on rare occasions... They are constant occurences around this modern-day world. There is only one prophecy yet to come which will signal the end, and it is found in Verse 15...

15... When ye therefore shall see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

The Abomination of Desolation is when the Anti-Christ stands in the temple of God proclaiming that he, himself is God. And is that temple not in the planning stages at this very moment? In this day, how long does it take to build such a structure? Not very long...not very long at all. Considering all this, how long do we think we have before Jesus parts the clouds for the final time? We can forget about eons. We can forget about centuries. What about years?...how many?

It is time, saints, to be doing more than just praying. It is time to be working and living in the dictates of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Book says to work now, while there is yet day, for the night cometh when no man can work. Can we not see the darkness falling at this very moment? Time for this present earth is in short supply. If you're not ready, I strongly urge you to get that way immediately, and bring everyone you can reach with you.

In Jesus' Name,
AMEN
